Many arts or education projects use videos as a way of showcasing their project. It can help them gain further funding or more participants.
Craft = Skills for Life was an amazing project set up by Craftspace to introduce young people, from three schools in Birmingham, to the art of craft making. Each school was taught a particular skill such as sewing, felt making and ceramics.
We were asked to document the whole project from start to finish. we produced five videos and here is one of them which covers the schools trip to London.
“Performed on Sunday 28th October 2007, Five Ways, Birmingham. Developed by Friction Arts with International artists, the people of Five Ways and beyond.

The Heritage Lottery Fund wanted to showcase some of the projects that they funded in 2009. We were called in to put together a video that would show how the H.L.F. are not just about funding old buildings but also about giving young people a chance to reflect on how life used to be.
